Karen Parde, who works as the state Refugee Program Coordinator and works with the Nebraska Department of Healthy and Human Services, will talk about the refugee situation here in Nebraska.

Jenny Rios, a sexual assault advocate, along with a colleague will come from SASA and will talk about the services SASA provides (especially to the immigrant community!)

Tony Kavan, of the NE State Patrol, will speak about human trafficking. According to Kavan, "Human trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal enterprise in the U.S. Currently, it's the second largest criminal enterprise in American, behind drugs."
