Aug 5-7
Students mastered the art of etching artwork onto glass in this fun and challenging class. Instructor – Larry Roberts.
Dog Days of Summer
July 30-Aug 1
Dog lovers learned how to make fuzzy cut-and-tie dog blankets and tasty treats that dogs love. These blankets and treats will be donated to local animal shelter Start Over Rover. Instructor – Sally Wilcox.
Mixed Media Art
July 23-24
Lion King paintings and combo painting/collage masterpieces were created in this week’s Mixed Media class. Instructor Kelsey King from St. Cecilia Middle and High school did an awesome job!
Edible Craft Creations

These imaginative, energetic chefs created some truly spectacular (& delicious) edible crafts this week! Teaching classes at the YWCA is our favorite part of summer!

Circus Parade

The preschoolers who participated in last week’s “Circus Parade” class had a ball making clown masks for their parade, coloring circus pictures, throwing beanbags into the lion’s mouth, and then having a photo-opp with the lion.
Icky Sticky Science

Today is a slimey kinda day! I love the enthusiasm during today’s science class. They were all whipping up batches of slime so fast!
